For College Students Mentored by Faculty | Funded & Non-Funded Categories
In Celebration to #unInternationalYouthDay2026 #GlobalGoalsWeek2026 Celebration

IGEN SDG Research Community Projects, aligned with UN International Youth Day and United Nations Global Goals Week Celebration 2026 , is an initiative of the IGEN Research & Innovation Consortium designed to inspire and empower college students, mentored by faculty members, to undertake meaningful SDG-focused community research and generate evidence-based outcomes that contribute to achieving the SDG targets.
Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia, will award the top-performing contributor team with an Online Junior Research Assistant opportunity.

🟢 Category I – IGEN SDG Research Micro-Grant: Students from IGEN Green Sustainability Academic Partner Institutions and IET Hyderabad Local Network Partner Institutions are eligible to submit proposals under the Micro-Grant Research Project category

🔵 Category II – IGEN SDG Research Projects: Students from Non-Partner Institutions are invited to participate under the Non-Funded Research Project category.
